Second year resident physician Dr. Rachel Criswell delivered an invited presentation in West Palm Beach, FL on her work in toxicants and breast milk composition. Her talk “Persistent environmental toxicants in human health outcomes” was given at a Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) scientific research conference dedicated to the science of human milk bioactives, and is the only recurring meeting of its kind. The conference was attended by representatives from academic, clinical, industrial, and government organizations with an interest in the composition and functional importance of human milk.
