Please join us in congratulating all three of our geriatric medicine fellows — Drs. Daphne Lang, Lauren Hall, and Shayna Shackford — for each being selected to present a poster at the 2018 Annual Scientific Meeting of the American Geriatrics Society this May in Orlando, FLA.
Dr. Lang, with faculty co-authors Dr. JoAnn Wang and Dr. Annette Beyea, will present a case involving the acute onset of behavioral symptoms in a nursing home resident with a diagnosis of dementia.
Dr. Hall, with co-author Dr. Annette Beyea, will present a case related to a tick-borne illness in an older gentleman with a dementia diagnosis.
Dr. Shackford, with co-author Dr. Annette Beyea, will present a case describing an atypical presentation of ALS in an older adult.
